Tara Stivers holds a Masters degree from Pepperdine University and is a certified birth doula located in Camarillo, California. She completed her birth doula training through DONA International. Tara also teaches prenatal yoga classes and is working toward childbirth education certification through the International Childbirth Education Association.
By working with pregnant and new mothers, Tara’s goal is to help mothers and their partners educate themselves on their options for childbirth, and provide the physical, emotional, and informational support they need to achieve what they define as a positive birth and parenting experience.

Cathleen Stafford, MFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who practices in San Diego, California. Cathleen is an independent contractor for Mental Health Systems, Inc. where she specializes in working with military families. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Southern California and earned her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego in 1994.

Gretchen Fowler RN, BA, MBA, has been a Registered Nurse working in Labor and Delivery, High Risk OB, Pediatrics and Nursery in various areas of the country for over 16 years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, in 1993 and received her MBA in 2003. She is approved by the CA Board of Registered Nursing to teach Obstetrics and Pediatrics, and has taught at a local college.
Gretchen is an independent contractor providing case management services for pediatric and obstetric patients, and liaison services between lay persons and medical professionals. She is dedicated to being a patient advocate, as most people have a say in their care, they just have to say it. Gretchen is the mother of 4, with number five due in 2 months. Dr. Angela M. Patterson is a wife and mother of a six-year old daughter and three year old son. She is double board certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Pediatrics, and has practiced medicine in the Washington-Baltimore area for over 15 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, and completed her residency and fellowship at University of Maryland Medical Systems.
Angela served as Attending Neonatologist and Assistant Professor at Howard University Hospital/College of Medicine, medical advisory board member for SIDS Alliance and OID (Other Infant Deaths), advisor for NIH D.C. Initiative to Reduce Infant Mortality, and has served as an on-air expert on Washington's WUSA Channel 9 on the latest updates on SIDS prevention. Currently, she is an Attending Neonatologist at Washington Hospital Center.
